The Clams
~ Greatest Hit ~

It's been over 30 years since The Clams assaulted the airwaves with their version of The Carpenters "Close To You", which means an ever increasing number of people who have never heard it.  Just when it looked like mental health was getting the upper hand, Spike Jones archivist Ted Hering came up with a rare, original release 45rpm single of The Clams greatest hit. (OK, only hit.)  Seems like the thing to do is play if for everybody ... so here it is, in your choice of RealAudio or MP3 audio.  Enjoy.

P.S.    Don't listen for stereo imaging;  Pop singles were mono in the 70s.
