What the owners love about the house

Located on a secluded country road, very private. Approaching the neighborhood, there's a farm that raises buffalo - there's always a herd of them grazing. As you approach Schoolhouse Road, you pass a 120 acre farm with corn fields and grazing cattle. There's a historic schoolhouse on the corner. But even with that private, rustic setting, the house is 10 minutes from the Hudson Valley Mall - (Hannaford, Staples, Lowes, Home Depot, CVS, Walmart, Kohl's, Borders, banks, pizza, Chinese takeout, etc.) - 15 minutes from NY Thruway exit 19, 10 minutes from picturesque Saugerties Village, 45 minutes from Albany, and 90 minutes to the George Washington Bridge. Unlike many remote country roads, there is cell service and good cable TV & internet. The historic barn is listed on the Dutch Barn registry.
